About Anastasia, RP (Q)
Anastasia Berezowsky Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I’m Anastasia, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and the founder of Birch Grove Wellness. I am currently completing my student hours at Integra Health Clinic under supervision. My path to this work began with a deep belief that healing happens when we care for both the mind and the body. On this path to complete a Master’s-level education in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and an Honour’s Bachelor degree in Kinesiology and Psychology from McMaster University, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting others in finding balance, resilience, and renewal.
In my practice, I’ve worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, body image concerns, and difficulties with emotional regulation. I specialize in helping people move through stress, burnout, and the challenges that arise when mental and physical health feel disconnected. I love bringing together talk therapy with somatic tools—like mindfulness, breathwork, and habit-based strategies—that support the nervous system, regulate energy and mood, and create lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and always shaped around your unique needs.
I’m also passionate about supporting clients as they heal and strengthen relationships. Whether it’s within families, partnerships, or friendships, I help people develop healthier communication, set boundaries, and repair ruptures with compassion and cultural sensitivity. Coming from a family system rooted in collectivist values and high expectations, I understand the complexity these dynamics can create. My goal is to help you protect your well-being while building authentic, supportive connections with the people who matter most. I draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic practices, tailoring therapy to meet you where you are and guide you toward meaningful growth.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me recharging in nature—hiking, skiing, or camping with my dog—or challenging myself through strength and conditioning training. I bring that same grounded, adventurous energy into my sessions, holding space for you to feel supported, empowered, and ready to heal.
My Story
From a young age, I learned the power of caring for both mind and body. When I faced my own health challenges, I leaned on movement, mindfulness, and self-reflection as tools to heal and rebuild. That experience shaped my life philosophy: that true well-being comes from integrating the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of who we are. It’s also what inspired me to study both Kinesiology and Psychology—to better understand how our inner and outer worlds are connected.
For over a decade, I worked in the fitness industry, helping people grow stronger physically while also noticing how much stress, burnout, and emotional pain lived just beneath the surface. I saw high achievers pushing themselves to the limit, parents trying to balance endless demands, and individuals quietly carrying struggles with anxiety, self-esteem, and relationships. And I knew there was a missing piece—strength and resilience had to include mental health too.
My story is still unfolding, just like yours. What grounds me is the belief that healing is possible for everyone, and that with the right support, we can all reconnect with ourselves and step into a life that feels aligned and whole.
My Mission
At Birch Grove Wllness, my mission is simple: to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself, build resilience, and step into a life that feels aligned and whole.
